Doctor, Scottish baker, brewer and finalist of The Great British Bake Off 2012, James Morton returns to The Edinburgh Bookshop with his new book Super Sourdough - the new, accessible guidebook for bakers everywhere.
Making sourdough is much more than a food: it is a science. Who better than Dr James Morton, baking pedant and fermentation fanatic, to explain the basics for both the uninitiated, and more experienced bakers?
Join us for samples from the new book and a special Bakers Question Time where James will answer all your doughy questions from sourdough starters and achieving the perfect crust, to avoiding a soggy bottom.
