Helen and Mark will be discussing their Edinburgh-based detective series and their love of our historic city. So come along, grab a drink, and celebrate all things Scottish crime.

More about the authors:

After practising criminal and family law for thirteen years, Helen Fields left the Bar to become an author, script writer and producer. She runs a film production company with her husband and the family now commute between Hampshire and California. Helen’s best-selling D.I. Callanach thrillers have been praised by the likes of James Oswald.

Mark Douglas-Home is a journalist turned author, who was editor of the Herald and the Sunday Times Scotland. He lives in Edinburgh with his family. Mark’s highly acclaimed Sea Detective series follows Cal McGill, an Edinburgh-based oceanographer, environmentalist and one-of-a-kind investigator.
